2010 Reunion?

There has been talk that we don't get together enough so it's time to start planning. What are your thoughts on a fall 2010 reunion in Pittsburgh for a Steelers game? I'm thinking that there are too many of us to actually go to a game but we could all meet up somewhere to watch a game. It could be a home game or an away game.

Here's there schedule (bold are home games):
09/12/10 vs. Atlanta Falcons, 1pm
09/19/10 at Tennessee Titans, 1pm
09/26/10 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1pm
10/03/10 vs. Baltimore Ravens, 1pm
10/10/10 BYE week
10/17/10 vs. Cleveland Browns, 1pm
10/24/10 at Miami Dolphins, 1pm
10/31/10 at New Orleans Saints, 8:20pm
11/08/10 at Cincinnati Bengals, Monday, 8:30pm
11/14/10 vs. New England Patriots, 8:20pm
11/21/10 vs. Oakland Raiders, 1pm
11/28/10 at Buffalo Bills, 1pm
12/05/10 at Baltimore Ravens, 8:20pm
12/12/10 vs. Cincinnati Bengals, 1pm
12/16/10 vs. New York Jets, 4:15pm
12/23/10 vs. Carolina Panthers, 8:20pm
01/02/11 at Cleveland Browns, 1pm

Please comment below and let me know your thoughts on the idea and also which weekends would work or not work.

  1. Nice job, Karleen. I think I would favor a game earlier in the season. Travel may be easier, and people won't have to work around holidays. But, overall, I can be flexible. I think you could be good to send this out to all the cousins.

  4. Mom, Dad, Dave, Beth and the kids are going to West Point the weekend of Sept. 17th so that weekend won't work for them.

  5. Okay, Sept 17th is out. I know I have a trip planned either the last or second to last weekend in September. Karen suggested an earlier game in the season, Nancy suggested a game close to a holiday (either 11/21 or 12/16) with hopes that Allie would be on break from school and could come too. Weather might play a factor in travel for a later game but I could make either happen.

  6. Hopefully we don't have the winter that we did last year, but usually it's not snowy in November or December - just cold. (Watch, now that I said that, it will probably snow.)

  8. October 17 or November 14 would be best for us, or not. Forgot hunting season begins on Nov. 15th. Anyway, I read your other site and the pictures are neat. How do you do this stuff? Mom
